Basic review of general setting techniques
Hands on practice of the following setting styles: Cluster, Emerald cut, Heart
shape, Marquise in two and four prongs, Trillion and Princess.
Channel setting of round and baguette stones
Setting of round and baguette stones
Complex burnishing
Burnishing tools, exercises with round and fancy shaped stones.
Hands on burnishing of pear and square stones
Pave and bead setting
Preparation of tools for bead setting. Sharpening of gravers.
