COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed for
someone with basic knowledge of jewelry making. You will work with 14K karat gold
pieces and solders in white and yellow gold. Gold findings, parts and mechanisms
are used.
Jewelry II takes the fear away from those who are
afraid of working with gold.
Learn about the proper solder to be chosen for each case scenario and
experience the difference hands on.
Finishing a custom made ring: An unfinished casting will be provided for performing all full finishing procedures. Rounding, sanding and polishing procedures. Solder white gold settings and set all stones in order to complete the project. Making a pair of earrings: A pair of custom made earrings will be planned and made. textures and design, installation of systems. Exercises with hollow jewelry: earrings and bracelets. Findings: Learn the use of findings, including earring systems, locks, settings and more. Create your own custom bracelet: make you own design and learn how to produce a fully finished piece. This course is highly recommended for the students who complete the Certified Bench Jeweler Program! ![]() ![]()
