Designing
your own jewelry is creative and rewarding. Design and perform rings,
earrings, bracelets, chains, pendants, pins and just about everything
that you can think of. During this 5 month long course you will complete
many projects and learn the techniques used for creating complex pieces
of jewelry starting from a blueprint or an idea.
This
program is geared to provide you with in depth knowledge to design,
restore and repair any piece of jewelry. In addition to master all tasks
of precious metals, you will also train in the areas of diamond grading,
gemstone identification, business and appraising. This program requires
extensive hands on as well as book work. When you graduate from this
program you will be proficient in most areas of the jewelry business and
master metalsmithing.
